The verses are divided into 25 subjects beginning with Salvation, then Holy Spirit etc for your reference to whichever subject that you may need in your personal walk. We suggest, however, that you do not memorize all of the verses in Salvation, then Holy Spirit etc, but rather by the set listings below. This way you will be able to memorize very quickly a wide variety of verses on a range of subjects.

    If a verse has an ' a ' or a ' b' behind it, it means it is the first part or the second part of the verse, and not the whole verse.
Salvation 2 Cor 5: 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Our Job John 6: 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.

Version Information

Commissioned in 1975 by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 130 respected Bible scholars, church leaders, and lay Christians worked for seven years to create a completely new, modern translation of Scripture, yet one that would retain the purity and stylistic beauty of the original King James.
